Reading Room — গোপনীয়তা নীতি
আমরা কারা
Reading Room (রিডিং রুম) একটি পড়াশোনার ট্র্যাকার, জবাবদিহি ও মেন্টরিং অ্যাপ, পরিচালনা করে BhagFol। এই নীতিতে বলা আছে অ্যাপ ও ওয়েবসাইট (readingroomedu.com) কী তথ্য নেয়, কেন নেয়, কে দেখে এবং কীভাবে মুছে ফেলা যায়।
আমরা যা সংগ্রহ করি
- অ্যাকাউন্ট: নাম, মোবাইল নম্বর, লিঙ্গ, ব্যাচ, ইউজারনেম, পাসওয়ার্ড (এনক্রিপ্ট করা অবস্থায়) এবং ইচ্ছা হলে ইমেইল ও প্রোফাইল ছবি।
- পড়াশোনার তথ্য: পড়ার সময়, বিষয়, টার্গেট, টু-ডু ও সম্পন্ন তালিকা, পোল-এর উত্তর, পয়েন্ট ও র্যাংক।
- মেসেজ: গ্রুপ ও মেন্টরের সঙ্গে পাঠানো লেখা, ছবি, PDF এবং ভয়েস নোট।
- ফোনের ব্যবহার (শুধু Android, আপনি অনুমতি দিলে): পড়ার সময় কোন অ্যাপ কতক্ষণ খোলা ছিল (স্ক্রিন টাইম) এবং ফোনে খোলা যায় এমন অ্যাপের তালিকা — যাতে পড়ার সময় অ্যাপ ব্লক করা যায় এবং মেন্টর রিপোর্ট দেখতে পারেন।
- ডিভাইস ও প্রযুক্তিগত তথ্য: নোটিফিকেশন টোকেন, ফোনের মডেল ও Android সংস্করণ, অ্যাপের সংস্করণ, এবং ক্র্যাশ হলে ত্রুটির বিবরণ।
আমরা বিজ্ঞাপন দেখাই না, বিজ্ঞাপন আইডি ব্যবহার করি না, আপনার অবস্থান (লোকেশন) নিই না এবং কোনো তথ্য বিক্রি করি না।
কেন ব্যবহার করি
- অ্যাকাউন্ট চালানো, লগইন ও নিরাপত্তা।
- পড়ার সময় মাপা, টার্গেট, লিডারবোর্ড, পয়েন্ট ও রিপোর্ট দেখানো।
- পড়ার সময় আপনি বা আপনার মেন্টর যে অ্যাপ বেছে নিয়েছেন তা ব্লক করা।
- মেন্টর ও অ্যাডমিনকে আপনার অগ্রগতি দেখানো, যাতে তাঁরা পরামর্শ দিতে পারেন।
- নোটিফিকেশন পাঠানো এবং অ্যাপের ত্রুটি ঠিক করা।
কে দেখতে পায়
- আপনার মেন্টর ও অ্যাডমিন আপনার পড়াশোনার তথ্য, তালিকা, স্ক্রিন টাইম রিপোর্ট ও মেসেজ দেখতে পান।
- আপনার ব্যাচের অন্য শিক্ষার্থীরা গ্রুপে পাঠানো মেসেজ, লিডারবোর্ডে আপনার নাম, ছবি ও পয়েন্ট দেখতে পায়।
- সেবা প্রদানকারী: আমাদের সার্ভার (হোস্টিং), Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (নোটিফিকেশন) এবং Sentry (ক্র্যাশ রিপোর্ট) — শুধু এই কাজগুলোর জন্য, নিজেদের কাজে নয়।
- আইন অনুযায়ী বাধ্য হলে কর্তৃপক্ষকে।
অনুমতিগুলো কেন লাগে
- ইউসেজ অ্যাক্সেস: স্ক্রিন টাইম মাপা ও পড়ার সময় কোন অ্যাপ খোলা হলো তা জানা।
- অন্য অ্যাপের উপরে দেখানো: ব্লক করা অ্যাপ খুললে ব্লক স্ক্রিন দেখানো।
- নোটিফিকেশন ও ফোরগ্রাউন্ড সার্ভিস: পড়ার টাইমার ও ব্লকার চালু থাকা অবস্থায় দেখানো, রিমাইন্ডার।
- মাইক্রোফোন: শুধু আপনি ভয়েস নোট রেকর্ড করলে।
- ব্যাটারি অপটিমাইজেশন বাদ: যাতে ফোন টাইমার ও ব্লকার বন্ধ করে না দেয়।
প্রতিটি অনুমতি চাওয়ার আগে অ্যাপ কারণ বলে নেয়, এবং যেকোনো সময় ফোনের সেটিংস থেকে বন্ধ করা যায়।
নিরাপত্তা ও সংরক্ষণ
সব তথ্য এনক্রিপ্টেড সংযোগে (HTTPS) পাঠানো হয়। অ্যাকাউন্ট সক্রিয় থাকা পর্যন্ত তথ্য রাখা হয়। ক্র্যাশ রিপোর্ট সীমিত সময়ের জন্য রাখা হয়।
তথ্য মুছে ফেলা
অ্যাপ থেকে: সেটিংস → অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন, তারপর পাসওয়ার্ড দিন। সঙ্গে সঙ্গে আপনার নাম, মোবাইল নম্বর, ইমেইল, ছবি, স্ক্রিন টাইম ও অ্যাপ ব্যবহারের তথ্য মুছে যায়, সব ডিভাইস থেকে লগআউট হয়, এবং এই অ্যাকাউন্টে আর লগইন করা যায় না। পড়ার রেকর্ড ও গ্রুপে পাঠানো মেসেজ আপনার নাম ছাড়া থেকে যায়, কারণ অন্যদের তালিকা, উত্তর ও হিসাব সেগুলোর উপর নির্ভর করে।
অ্যাপ ছাড়া: bhagfol@gmail.com-এ আপনার নাম, ইউজারনেম ও মোবাইল নম্বর দিয়ে লিখুন; আমরা ৩০ দিনের মধ্যে একইভাবে মুছে দেব।
শিশু
অ্যাপটি ১৩ বছর বা তার বেশি বয়সী শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য। ১৩ বছরের কম বয়সী কারও তথ্য আমরা জেনেশুনে নিই না।
পরিবর্তন ও যোগাযোগ

Who we are
Reading Room is a study tracker, accountability and mentoring app run by BhagFol. This policy explains what the app and the website (readingroomedu.com) collect, why, who sees it, and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
- Account: name, mobile number, gender, batch, username, password (stored hashed), and optionally email and a profile photo.
- Study data: study time, subjects, targets, to-do and completed lists, poll answers, points and ranks.
- Messages: text, photos, PDFs and voice notes sent in groups and to mentors.
- Phone usage (Android only, with your permission): which apps were open and for how long while studying (screen time), and the list of apps on the phone that can be opened — so chosen apps can be blocked during study and mentors can see reports.
- Device and technical data: notification token, phone model and Android version, app version, and error details when the app crashes.
We show no ads, do not use the advertising ID, do not collect your location, and do not sell any data.
Why we use it
- To run your account, sign-in and security.
- To measure study time and show targets, leaderboards, points and reports.
- To block the apps you or your mentor chose while you study.
- To show your progress to your mentors and admins so they can guide you.
- To send notifications and fix errors in the app.
Who can see it
- Your mentors and admins see your study data, lists, screen-time reports and messages.
- Other students in your batch see messages you post in groups, and your name, photo and points on leaderboards.
- Service providers: our hosting server, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications) and Sentry (crash reports) — only to provide those services, not for their own use.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Why the permissions are needed
- Usage access: to measure screen time and know which app was opened during study.
- Display over other apps: to show the block screen when a blocked app is opened.
- Notifications and foreground service: to show the study timer and blocker while they run, and reminders.
- Microphone: only when you record a voice note.
- Ignore battery optimisation: so the phone does not stop the timer and blocker.
The app explains each permission before asking, and each can be turned off at any time in the phone's settings.
Security and retention
All data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Data is kept while the account is active. Crash reports are kept for a limited time.
Deleting your data
In the app: Settings → Delete account, then enter your password. Your name, mobile number, email, pictures, screen-time and app-usage data are erased at once, every device is signed out, and the account can never be signed in to again. Study records and messages you sent in groups stay without your name, because other people's lists, replies and accounts depend on them.
Without the app: write to bhagfol@gmail.com with your name, username and mobile number; we do the same within 30 days.
Children
The app is meant for students aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
